Dave gives pastoral oversight to small groups, care team, drama team, and A/V ministry. He is actively involved in the preaching ministry and provides administrative oversight to other areas of the church. Family Pastor
Jason & Margaret Dietrich
Pastor Jason graduated Lancaster Bible College in 2010. He held the role of Youth Pastor at another church in the Ephrata area before coming to New Joy in January 2017 to assume the role of Family Pastor. He oversees the ministries of the church for both the children and the youth, from birth to high school graduation. His passion is discipleship, especially when it comes to young people.
He and his wife, Margaret, tied the knot in the fall of 2012. They have three beautiful, young daughters Emery, Gwen, and Alyson. Their son, Desmond, was tragically stillborn in November of 2021. They are a tight family that longs for deep and meaningful relationships both in, and out of, the church. This has become even more prevalent in the wake of the loss of their son, a journey through which they would not have made it, if not for the goodness and faithfulness of God!
For fun, they enjoy going on walks, or bike rides, and visiting different parks as a family. The five of them live here, in the Ephrata community, with their dogs Sadie and Duchess.
